Ridgeview Middle School 
Seventh grade students began their novel study “The Outsiders” by taking a tour of the early 1960s while visiting the library. During their time in the library students used iPads to listen to popular music of the time and to tour Tulsa then and now. Laptops were used to review slang terms using Quizlet Live, and the Interactive TV became home to popular TV shows of the 1960s. Mrs. Kay hosted a drive in theater for students to see movies and movie stars mentioned in the book. Students, and teachers, were also able to take a green screen picture.
